What We Believe
We do not have a creed or doctrine other than the Word of God, and we strive to follow it book, chapter, and verse, without adding to it or taking away from it (Deuteronomy 4:2; Revelation 22:18-19). Our History
The Southaven congregation was established in Southaven, Mississippi on June 13, 1965 when several families met to worship together in the Tri-State Auction Barn. Al Frankes and Harold Bowie served as the first pulpit preachers and Robert Hall served as the song leader. For the next 15 months they continued to meet in this building each Lord’s Day and Wednesday evening for worship while suitable facilities were planned and completed.
